I found my profile on LinkedIn, and the recruiter reached out. The first screening interview went really well, focusing on my past experience and interest in the role. The recruiter shared details about the company, benefits, and the position, which increased my enthusiasm. After promising to forward my CV to management, I received feedback quickly and was scheduled for in-office interviews. That day, I had two interviews: a peer-to-peer with team leads and another with managers where I discussed my product knowledge. The questions felt very relevant, and I conveyed my strong interest in the company. All interviewers were engaging and seemed interested in my background. Immediately after leaving the office, I received a job offer from the recruiter, which I happily accepted.

I applied for the Associate Customer Advocate job online. I received an email the same day asking me to set up a phone call with someone from HR. Things seemed promising, but during the call, the HR person didn't seem to know much about the job and couldn't explain the daily tasks. They also made the role sound pretty unimportant. I was really excited about the job and the possibility of moving up within Zendesk, but the conversation left me feeling disappointed. I was sure I was a good fit, but I haven't heard back in a few weeks, even though they said I'd get an update.

I applied online and heard back pretty quickly from the Director of Customer Support and a Customer Advocate Manager. I had a quick phone chat with a Manager, and they said they'd set up an on-site. The next day, they asked me to swing by the office, and it turned out to be an interview. I met with the Director of Customer Support, the Manager of Level 2 Advocates, a Level 2 Advocate, and the Manager of Level 1 Advocates. It was pretty casual. Later that day, they wanted to interview me with their COO. I set that up for the following week. I interviewed with the COO, talked about my passions and growth goals. By the end of that day, I got a very excited offer email.
