There are 3 to 4 filtering steps. The first ones are regular interviews with the team, and the last one is a practical case study that is presented to the managers. The initial interviews are easy, but the final filter is challenging.

It began with a quick chat with HR. Then, I had an interview with the sales director, who was also the hiring manager. After that, there was a round with the presales director, technology director, and regional sales director. This was followed by two rounds where I had to give solution presentations. I had to pick one of three scenarios and present the solution, which involved configuring it in the application and doing a live demo, showing the value proposition and competitive analysis. It went fine until the last part, where they asked for an elevator pitch of the solution. By then, I had already talked for an hour and couldn't come up with anything good.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a really long process. Started with HR screening, then 3-4 interviews with team members and the person who previously held the role. The final stage was a presentation to about 5-6 people, including the director. I thought I did great on everything, but they said no because I lacked sales experience, even though it's a tech role. I have tons of tech experience, just no sales.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Were you asked behavioral questions?
  • Were you asked vague tech questions (AWS, APIs, etc.)?
  • Did you have to do a presentation?
