After I applied online, they called me and invited me to do some pre-interview tests: verbal, numerical, and inductive reasoning. They sent an email with all the details on how to prepare, which was really helpful. If you passed those, you'd get an interview, about 45 minutes long. The interview started with a review of the test results, then it was a typical interview. It felt very friendly, and I felt really welcome. If they decided to hire you, they would then check references and do medical tests, which I didn't get to. They said they'd need about two weeks to decide. It's been two months since my interview, and nobody has contacted me about the results. I don't have any contact info to follow up, and I can't find anything online. The building doors are locked, so I can't even get in. I really think I deserve to know the outcome after taking the time to interview. That's the only really disappointing part of the whole process. Since nobody got back to me in two months, I'm just assuming it's a 'no job offer'.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you tell us about your past jobs and what you were responsible for?
- What would you do in a specific situation?
Product Support
Started with a 30 minute phone call with the hiring manager and operations manager. A few days later, I got an email to set up a second in-person interview. I had to sign an NDA and do a PI personality test before that. The second interview was 2.5 hours long, with 30 minutes each with HR, 2 peers, and 3 managers. Everyone was really professional and top-notch, and they gave us plenty of time to talk things through.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join Zeltiq?
- Can you share an example of a challenging customer interaction you've managed?
- Walk me through a time you successfully resolved a technical problem.

I had two interviews on High five, which is like Skype. Both interviews were with managers in different territories. They were both pretty nice, and the interview wasn't too tough. They seemed more interested in what I knew about the company than my background. I followed up a few times in different ways, but neither interviewer got back to me after the second interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What motivated your interest in this position?
- What is your understanding of our company?

The job was advertised on Glassdoor. You need experience in manufacturing or medical devices. Your personality is really important for hiring and the interview. They care a lot about enthusiasm, attitude, and motivation. Positivity and a good understanding of the industry are key. They want to know if you're willing to adapt to change. They'll also ask about key responsibilities from your past experience(s).
- Were you ever employed at a start-up company?
