There were many candidates for a single position, and simultaneously, many back-to-back interviews like it was a race. You have to invest a lot of time just for the interviews, without securing the position.

It started nicely with an icebreaker, giving me plenty of time and making me feel comfortable to introduce myself, which is a great way to showcase who I am and what I can contribute. After that, I was asked questions that were simple yet specific about current trends in the fashion industry. Since I got the offer through placement, the group discussion round was a great way to make an impression, with really relevant questions given the current atmosphere. Overall, it was a smart process to gauge the knowledge and passion of the person being interviewed.

The atmosphere was friendly, like hanging out with friends for coffee, where we discussed fashion. I started by sharing about myself and my education. Then, they asked about my skills, my thoughts on fashion in the city, and my perspective on the Zara company. They also inquired about my motivation for wanting to work at Zara, whether I knew anyone employed there, and if I had prior experience with the company.
