First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zander Insurance Group.
Insurance Needs Specialist
The interview process felt comfortable. The interviewer seemed to take her role seriously. I liked the direct and straightforward way she communicated expectations, and it wasn't just empty talk. I felt like we had a good conversation.
- What made you decide to pursue a role at Zander over other companies?
Customer Service Representative
I had a good interview and they asked some good questions, it seems like a good place to work but the pay has me a little worried, but I’m sure if I work hard it will pay off.
- How would you handle rejection?
HR Representative
The process was very professional, the Director of HR was very communicative with me and seemed to be very interested and being through yet respecting my time. She explained that the process could take a while on the front end, though I had no idea just how long that was going to be. 2 months after interviewing and after frequent followups to see if I was still being considered I just withdrew. Not sure if they found someone else of if they were just keeping me on as a backup in case. Needless to say I didn't want to be involved after that point.
- Describe a situation where you collaborated effectively with a team to achieve a specific objective.
Agent
The interview process was a bit different than I expected, but it was good. They seem to take their business seriously, and they were nice people. The interview room was really cold, which was a bit strange. I spoke with HR (Adrian), a VP (Elizabeth), and the department manager (Rebekah). They were all professional and seemed to really know and enjoy their jobs. I felt like I was asked a lot of questions, maybe 100. It was hard to think of specific examples because I was nervous. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and a learning opportunity.
- Describe a situation where you were dissatisfied with your own performance.
