First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zameen.
Sales Executive
Before the in-person interview, they sent over good documentation like Google forms and the schedule was flexible. However, I had to wait a long time at the decided time. They really need to improve their time management. Also, parking around the building was a pain.
- What is your relevant sales experience?
Sales Representative
First I had to do an online test with 43 questions that included IQ, maths, and other topics. After that, HR conducted an interview where they asked about my prior experience and the current rates in Lahore Smart City. I mentioned my 6 months of experience in real estate marketing. Then they inquired about the reasons to invest in property versus saving money in a bank.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What are the current rates in Lahore Smart City?
- Why invest in property instead of keeping money in the bank?
Business Development Associate
I went through 2 interviews for a Business Development Associate role but wasn't invited for the final round. The workplace felt unprofessional, and the director seemed disorganized. My second interview was scheduled for 12 p.m., but I actually had it at 2:30 p.m. due to poor scheduling. After passing the second interview, they said they'd contact me within 2-3 days for the final interview, but they never did. When I messaged the manager, I was informed I wouldn't be proceeding to the final interview. A waste of time.
- Can you share your previous work history?
- Describe your sales experience.
Project Manager
The interview started with a general introduction about myself and my city. Then, there were personality questions like how I would respond under pressure. Following that, there were Excel practical questions covering VBA, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, and Basic Functions. Finally, I gave a 15-minute demo where I performed simple functions.
- Could you explain Excel Macros?
- What is VLOOKUP?
- Can you describe basic functions in Excel?
Zameen Interview Questions
Quoted word for word from Zameen interview reports.
“Given a string, what are all the unique sub-strings that are equal to a given length n? For example, for the string "AAABBBCCC" and N=3, the expected output is ["AAA", "AAB", "ABB", "BBB", "BBC", "BCC", "CCC"].”
Read reports →“Given a string `str` containing HTML DOM elements (b, i, em, div, p) and plain text, determine if the HTML is correctly nested. If it is, return `true`. If not, find the first element that, if changed, would make the string correctly formatted, and return that element's tag name. If the string is malformed, there will only be one element that needs changing. For example, if `str` is "<div><i>hello</i>world</b>", return "div" because changing the first `<div>` to a `<b>` would fix the nesting.”
