I applied online and then had a 30-minute phone call with the Director of Talent Management. Next, I had a video call with the VP of Sales. After that, I was invited onsite to meet with the VP of Sales, some Account Director Team members, a Solutions Engineer, and the CEO. Finally, there was an in-person presentation. They were very transparent throughout the whole process.

Technical Behavioral Coding

The whole process moved really fast and was super smooth. It kicked off with a quick intro call with the engineering VP. He was great at explaining the team's setup and how things work day-to-day. He also threw in a technical question about sorting, but it felt super chill, not stressful at all. Next up was a technical interview with an engineer from the team over webcam. I got to share my screen and use my own dev environment. The interviewer was really cool and helpful, and working through the problems with him actually made me way more stoked about the company than I was before. The last part was an on-site where I met a few more team members, plus the engineering VP again and the CTO. It was a mix of technical and cultural questions, but the technical ones weren't about coding on a whiteboard; they were just conversational. By the end of the day, I was pretty wiped, but I had a solid idea of what it'd be like to work there, and I genuinely enjoyed chatting with everyone.

Behavioral Presentation

I had a phone interview with 3 people, then went to their office for another interview where I met those same 3 people plus 2 more, one of whom was the CTO and co-founder. I usually find interviews to be kind of a drag and not very genuine, but this experience was really different. The interviewers seemed really authentic, enthusiastic, intelligent, and down-to-earth. I got a clear understanding of the company's mission, which made me even more eager to join. Everything went about as perfectly as I could have imagined.

No phone screen. Just sent my resume and was offered an interview. The interview was very awkward as the manager I met with hadn't even reviewed my resume before our conversation. Once we got on track, she didn't really have any questions for me. After a few days of silence, I was told the "role and responsibilities are being modified" and they won't be continuing the interview process.
