I had an online interview with two senior managers from the Interior Design Department. The interview began with a brief self-introduction, followed by a presentation of projects from my portfolio. Although they had mentioned beforehand that it would be an informal chat rather than a formal interview, their demeanor was quite formal, with minimal comments or friendly interaction. This made the experience somewhat intimidating, especially over a video call, where it was difficult to gauge their reactions. They asked a few questions about my role in specific projects and concluded by asking if I had any questions for them. Overall, the structured nature of the conversation made it feel more like a formal interview than a casual discussion.

It was a portfolio review followed by a short talk about my projects and some discussions. Then we talked about each project, why I'd like to work there, company policy, what they are looking for, and what salary I expect.

To start, they required a CV, Portfolio, and a Technical Portfolio focusing on computational skills and software knowledge. After an initial screening, I had a one-on-one technical interview where I discussed everything I had previously submitted. Once I passed that, I was given a take-home exercise focused on computational design and parametric modeling, which I had to complete as quickly as possible. Following that, there was an online test to assess general software skills. The final stage involved a personality interview with the Head of BIM and HR. The offer was extended via a phone call.
