First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yusen Logistics.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was organized and clear. The supervisor did not seem to fully understand the role or daily responsibilities. There was little opportunity to learn about the position, and the questions were not structured.
- Tell me about your English understanding and your background.
Magasinier
The interview was conducted formally. The welcome was very pleasant with a very friendly recruiter. We went through the CV together, talking about objectives one by one. A nice tour of the company was given to provide an idea of the work. In the last step, they will contact you regarding the recruitment's progress.
- Traditional questions about your CV.
Intern
After submitting my CV, I got an interview. I went to the office and met with three interviewers. The interview lasted about 30-40 minutes. They asked me about myself, if I'm willing to work overtime, and about my strengths and weaknesses.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Are you open to working overtime?
- What are your strong points?
Human Resources
The first interview was over Teams/Zoom and went well. The second stage was in-person and people were nice, with some tough questions but generally okay. After the second stage, I was told a decision would be made in 1-2 days. It's now been over a month, and despite following up, I haven't heard back. I found out from someone else that they made an offer to another candidate. I think it's rude to not provide any feedback or outcome, especially when you're ignored after chasing for information.
- Competency and scenario questions were asked.
