First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at YPrime.
Project Manager
I applied online for a bilingual Japanese and English Project Manager position, having previously worked with YPrime projects. I had an introductory call with Talent Acquisition, where I answered questions about my background. The interviewer seemed pleased with my experience and location, stating I was a good fit and that they would forward my candidacy. After not hearing back, I followed up multiple times but was ultimately ghosted. While the interviewer was nice, the lack of follow-up after being told I was a strong candidate and given clear next steps left a negative impression.
- Can you describe your past eCOA project experience?
Software Tester
The interview process had two rounds. The first was conversational and the second was technical. Both were pretty chill, honestly, nothing to stress over. The technical part was mostly about whether I'd used certain tools and asking me to describe a past experience.
- Are you proficient with SQL?
- Could you describe your experience with testing?
- Tell me about a situation where you performed X.
Translation Assistant
The interview process involved two Teams meetings. The first meeting focused on my interest in the role and some general background information about myself. This initial meeting seemed very positive, and the interviewer was eager to move me to the next stage quickly. The second interview was with the department manager, also via Teams. This session included behavioral questions, some personality-based questions, and a couple of technical questions. Both interviewers were very pleasant and helpful. Despite being told I'd hear back by the end of the week, I didn't receive a response for two weeks after the second interview. Although I didn't get the job, the company seemed very friendly based on my interactions with the staff.
- Can you manage handling multiple projects simultaneously?
Software Developer
It was a two-stage interview. First, I spoke with the hiring manager to see if I would be a good fit for the team. Then, there was a technical interview where they asked me about MVC, design patterns, C#, SQL, OOP pillars, and SOLID principles.
- Can you explain MVC?
- What are some design patterns you've used?
- Tell me about your experience with C#.
