Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ypê (Química Amparo).
Intern
We started with a meeting with teams and after the presentation we had an individual interview where questions were asked about our personal and professional development as a whole.
- What activities in the area had you performed
Intern
The interview process was well organized and conducted online via Zoom. The recruiter asked me about my background, my availability, my strengths and weaknesses, what motivated me to apply for the position, and also discussed the benefits of the role.
- Can you tell me a bit about your background?
- What are your strengths and areas for improvement?
- What made you apply for this process?
Intern
After completing my registration and the online logical reasoning tests, the next step was a group dynamics panel. The main proposal was very interesting: an email was sent a week before asking us to choose a Ypê product and share our personal story related to that product choice. In the panel, we also discussed among the candidates about an innovative new project for the company based on our reading of news, magazines, and other sources. Right after the panel, I was called for a brief interview with my current manager to clarify doubts and ask more technical questions about the area.
- Which Ypê product line or product would you use to introduce yourself, and what's your reasoning?
