The interview process has two parts. Be aware that the first part, which they call a screening, will actually involve questions about YLI. The second interview will be with two people from the team. The interviewers were nice and respectful.

I applied online and got an email confirmation that they were processing my application and would respond by the end of the next week. They actually got back to me earlier and scheduled a phone interview. After the phone interview went well, they invited me for an in-person interview with the Hiring Manager and the Program Director. The interview was held in the company's office lobby, which was very relaxed and informal, which helped ease my nerves! The interview consisted of three parts: introductions, where they asked me questions, and then I had the chance to ask them questions.

Behavioral Group Presentation

I applied for a programs associate position and went through a phone interview, an in-person interview, and a group interview where I had to prepare a lesson. I was told I would hear within a week of the group interview about the position. 4 weeks later, I got an email saying that hiring was postponed and I'd get an update within two weeks, with a final decision at the end of the month. It turned out the job had been re-posted. Another 4 weeks went by with no updates. I contacted them but never got a response. I only found out someone else was hired when I saw the new staff update on their website. Very nice, but very unprofessional and inconsiderate communication. They wasted a lot of my time when they could have just rejected me after my final interview.

The interview process was super quick and they moved really fast. First, there was a phone call screening, then a zoom call where they asked a budget question, and finally an in person interview. They include youth in the final in person interview.
