It was a chill talk. Mostly common sense questions. The environment was formal but the people were friendly. They did mention it was formal attire which I don’t understand considering it’s not customer facing. That was a blocker for me but other than that everything seemed fine.

It was a good interview experience. They discussed the fair price and good commission structure. The team seemed lovely and made me feel at ease. They have a brilliant training system and fair management. We talked about the OTE and explanations of their schemes. They also covered aspects of mortgages and finances.

Applied online. Contacted by the manager then a recruitment person to set up an interview. The interview itself was very informal. Based on the questions asked, they hadn't looked at my CV. I felt unsuccessful. Then I got invited to a second interview at a different location. It took about 15 minutes, much less than the travel time. Again, it was extremely informal and they asked the same questions. As expected, no one even had the decency to call and say I was unsuccessful. Only an automated, script email landed in my spam.

I had about 5 interviews in total before getting the job. The first one was at a hotel where they interviewed multiple people at once, kind of like speed dating. I had to go from desk to desk and talk with different interviewers. After passing that stage, I had an interview with the branch manager, who I would end up working for.
