I was contacted by a third-party recruiter, and then another recruiter from a different company reached out. I spoke with someone who works at YHA, and they sent over credentialing paperwork. After completing and signing all the documents, I authorized a background check and then received an email for a drug screening. I submitted my urine sample for the drug test, which I'm confident passed since I don't use drugs. They initially said the process would take about two weeks, but after several weeks, I got an email saying they were ending the onboarding. It felt like a waste of my time and effort for a chance to earn some extra money, especially since I already have a full-time job. I'm unsure what their concerns were.

The recruiter reached out after seeing my resume online to set up a phone interview. The call was brief and professional. They went over the role and the hiring steps, and mentioned HR would call the next day, which they did.

The entire interview was conducted over the phone. The onboarding process was really smooth; there's one person who handles it and they know exactly what they're doing. Filling out forms online was super easy and accessible, so no need for faxing, and the whole thing went without a hitch.
