The interview process was great and really interesting. The interviewer was good, and the hiring practice felt very equitable. There was a lot of good information shared during orientation. The pay and hours are good, and there's time off in the summer.

First, I was given an online question to complete before the interview, and I had 20 minutes to answer it. About two weeks later, I got an invitation for the interview. The interview itself was a bit of a letdown; there were two interviewers, but one wasn't really paying attention and was talking to someone else in the room. It felt really disappointing and discouraging.

I applied online and then got a call. After that, I had a Zoom meeting with the principal and vice principal. They asked me a bunch of questions about teaching and specific classroom stuff. They were really nice but also professional. Then, we had a meeting to talk about why I didn't get the job and what I could do better next time.
