after I passed the initial computer exam, they emailed me to set up an interview. it was a panel interview with three librarians from different Yolo County branches. we talked about why I wanted to work at the library, how much I used libraries, and if I'd been to any in the county. then there was a shelving test where they gave me instructions and a set of books to shelve accurately and quickly.

First, I went to the agency to complete an application and take all the required tests. Then, they send you out to take a drug test, and the results come back in 24 hours. After that, the staffing manager will call you in to interview for the specific position you might be hired for. They also sent me to the site to be interviewed by the assignment supervisor. Depending on the job, you might start right away or it could take days or weeks.
