I applied using a written application. They got back to me, but they wanted to have an interview at 10 pm on New Year's Eve. I didn't feel safe being alone and out that late, especially since it was after closing hours then, so I told them. Because of that, the interview was just called off and I didn't get to reschedule.

The interview process was pretty standard, nothing too surprising. They mostly wanted to confirm your availability matched their needs. They asked general questions about you, and nothing was meant to trick you. They also wanted to know if you had prior food service experience and how you'd deal with an unhappy customer. Mostly, they were just assessing if you'd be a dependable worker.

I applied online and got an email within a couple of days for an interview. I went into the store for the interview and we talked for about 45 minutes about my previous job experience and what I studied in college. He went over the basic job requirements and basically told me I was hired on the spot pending a background check. Once the background check was processed I had one more informal phone interview about salary. I was emailed a job offer letter a week later.
