First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yes Marketing.
Marketing Program Manager
I had a phone screen and then two on-site visits. The recruiter was really nice and worked hard to make sure the interviews were aligned. Most of the people I met were also really nice, but everyone had a different answer about work-life balance. On my second interview, which would have been the last one, I was kept waiting for almost an hour. I had to leave for another commitment and couldn't meet the people who were making me wait. They wanted me to come back for a third time to finish the interview. I withdrew my application. The people were nice enough, but honestly, if they can't make a scheduled interview and make you wait, it shows they have issues with managing time.

Account Manager
The initial phone interviews went well. Then I was invited to meet the team in person. Initially, the interactions were very pleasant, but then a couple of individuals became quite confrontational. Their feedback was inconsistent; I'd tailor my responses based on one person's input, only to be told I was wrong by the next. Despite this, it seems like a good place to work, though I felt drained after three hours, especially since I was told to expect only 60 to 90 minutes. In retrospect, I should have ended the interview after 90 minutes to value my own time. If they were serious about moving forward, we could have finished the process later.

Senior Software Engineer
i had a half hour phone interview with 2 guys who asked some basic java, web service, and sql questions. then i had a 1 hour onsite interview with a panel of 3 people. they asked some basic questions about what i've done in the past, and the hiring manager asked some questions about the interview itself.

Customer Support
Got an email from a recruiter about 2 weeks after applying online. The recruiter was really nice and asked about my career goals to see if the job was a good fit. I decided that Yesmail wasn't the right place for me, but the recruiter followed up nicely and wished me well. I was impressed by how professional they were because most recruiters disappear after the initial chat.
