I spoke with the recruiter first, she was super nice and professional. Then I had 2 in-person interviews and they offered me the job on the same day as the second interview.
- Can you tell me about your background and previous work?
- What specifically about this position interests you?
- Are you comfortable with commuting to the office for work?
Community Manager
The interview process was quite lengthy, involving four interviews for what seems like an average position. While the concept was appealing, the company's impending public offering is making things a bit too complex for most of our preferences.
- Explain your suitability for this role.
Accountant
I spoke with a staffer, the A/P mgr, then another staffer, and finally the Tax Manager and Associate. All the people I talked to were great. The initial recruiter, though, really dropped the ball with poor communication and then just ghosting me after the interview, which was a bummer. I felt I connected best with the first staffer I met because he also worked his way through college doing blue collar work before getting into this field.
- Standard interview questions were asked, nothing unusual.

The interview process was fine! The initial phone screen was nice and informative. This was followed by an interview with a manager. The chat was pretty informal. There was some technical talk, but no formal skills assessment. It lasted approx an hour. Then another HR call which just prepped me for the next steps. Then a meeting with two directors. This was very extensive. No formal skills assessment this time either. They were nice enough, but they were on their cell phone constantly. They said they had a few more interviews, and that I should hear back in a week. I never got ANY correspondence afterwards. I even reached back out to HR after a week, and they said nothing. Poor reflection on the company.
