First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yellowstone Landscape.
Business Development Manager
It was a long process but I learned a lot. I spoke with 4 different managers before getting hired. They were all nice and shared a lot about the company. It seems like a good place to work.
- Can you describe your sales background and experience?
Driver and Laborer
I met with two people at their office for a standard interview where we discussed my goals and previous work history. They made me a job offer on the spot. However, within the first week, I was assigned tasks that I was initially told would not be part of the role.
- What makes you believe you'd be a good fit for this company?
Landscape Designer
I applied online and got a call about a week later from a nice woman in Ohio who was impressed with my work and said I'd move on to the next interview in Chicago. I met with two nice gentlemen there; we talked about my experience and the job's details, and I got a tour. They said HR would call next. I sent a thank you email to both, and one replied, saying I'd hear from them soon. After three weeks of silence, I followed up. No response. I followed up again, and the same guy said they were still interviewing and I'd know in a week. Four weeks passed, so I followed up again, still no reply. It's rude for a company not to update applicants after two interviews, especially when one is on-site.
- What is your knowledge and experience concerning this role?
- Could you detail your previous work experience?
- Could you elaborate on the job's scope and responsibilities?
HR Assistant
The interview process was really smooth and went by quickly. I went through three interview stages before they offered me the job. It was nice because you could really tell what the company culture was like during the interviews, which is a good sign when you're looking for work.
- Can you describe your experience working as part of a team?
