First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Yay Lunch!.
People Operations
Got an email to set up a virtual interview. The interview was scheduled for 2 days later, but 20 minutes before it was supposed to start, they cancelled it via calendar invite. Then, I got a text saying they had a legal meeting pop up and needed to reschedule. I followed up a few days later and never heard back. By the end of that week, the job posting was gone. I get that business needs can change, but it would have been more professional to let me know, especially since we had a confirmed interview time.

Project Manager
I'm trying to get a good interview going by concentrating on important things since there's no such thing as a perfect interview, as they're subjective and depend on lots of things.
- Tell me about a time you faced a big challenge at work, what you did, and what happened in the end.
Lunch Coordinator
The interview was a relaxed, general chat. They were very thorough. They answered all my questions and were easy to talk to. I'd recommend this company. They mentioned that other employees also really enjoy working here.

Management
I was ghosted after the final round even though they promised to let me know either way. The interview loop kept changing and people didn't seem to know why they were interviewing me. Everyone was really nice, but they didn't seem very organized.
- Can you share your background with me?
