Presentation Behavioral Other

The process kicked off with the HR manager asking if I had questions. I did, but wanted to hear about the role first. Then, I had to give a presentation on 'anything,' but they specifically asked to include finance/marketing tasks like calculating NPV, competitor costs, and value proposition. The call was supposed to be 30 minutes but ran for an hour. I only got 5 minutes for the presentation without slide sharing, and had to verbally describe slides, which was awkward. No chance for my questions as it ran 30 mins over. They said I was strong and fit what they needed, expecting to move forward, but needed to interview others first. They'd let me know next week. Hours later, I got an auto-rejection. My follow-up with the recruiter for details went unanswered.

Technical Presentation Case Behavioral

The interview process started with a phone screen, followed by a 1st round panel interview. The 2nd round involved a surprise presentation where I had 40 minutes to prepare a solution based on a one-pager business background and problem. I was asked to create a diagram, PRD, wireframes, CA templates, and a business case, and then present it to the panel. I didn't have my laptop and wasn't informed beforehand, so it was an on-the-spot test. Luckily, I had recently worked on a similar business issue during a consulting gig. I used whiteboards and my expertise to present a business case and solution based on months of research, offering strategic direction options, high-level requirements for onboarding, chargebacks, etc. It led to interactive discussions, and I felt like I was giving them free consulting as the problem was a real company challenge. I realized I was interviewing with inexperienced and junior people who might not recognize my skills. Three of them seemed to have big egos. It felt like a waste of my time and a mistake on my part, though I was initially eager due to the commute.

Very professional Process. Had an initial phone screening followed by an onsite visit. I was interviewed by 4 members from Engineering & Product Management. The interviews were informational with a healthy bout of discussion on related topics. It was overall a great experience
