First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xylem.
Application Engineer
After submitting my online application, I had an initial informal chat. The selection process actually involved two interviews: one introductory and one technical. I only went through the introductory one, where they asked about my past experiences. They inquired about my willingness to relocate to Pesaro, but then offered me a position in Rome. Overall, it wasn't stressful; it felt like a casual conversation among friends.
- What do you do?
- What would you like to do?
- Were you open to moving to Pesaro?
Applications Engineer
I applied off-campus and got an interview. It mostly involved technical questions to check my knowledge and compatibility. The interview didn't take long, wrapping up in about 15 minutes, which was the shortest I've ever experienced.
- Could you tell me about your resume?
- Can you explain concepts related to your branch of study?
Applications Engineer
The interview process was very quick and focused a lot on how you fit into a team. The first interview was over the phone with a recruiter, and the second interview was in person. The first interview had very easy, basic behavioral questions.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced a conflict within a team and describe how you resolved it?
