They showed no interest and the interview was too short. I didn't know where I stood after the interview. The position is still advertised online, even though they said they had to choose from so many applicants and it wasn't easy for them.

Ich habe meine Bewerbung online eingereicht und nach 2-3 Tagen kam ein Anruf, der mich zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch einlud. Nach dem positiven Gespräch gab es zweimal Schnuppertage. Leider konnte die Stelle in meiner Abteilung (Küche) nicht besetzt werden, da gespart werden musste und der Hausleiter im Urlaub war, obwohl ich eine Zusage bekommen hatte. Nach einem Monat Wartezeit fragte man mich, ob ich mir vorstellen könnte, in einem anderen Bereich zu arbeiten, was ich bejahte.

After a warm welcome, they introduced the company and the contact person. Then, they explained the advertised position. I was asked to talk about myself in my own words and explain my reasons for changing jobs. After that, I was given a tour of the company and shown my potential workspace. They directly explained the tasks I would be responsible for.

Very nice and competent conversation about the job and expectations. Slightly unclear information about earnings and classification according to the collective agreement. Salary proposal sent by email, which gives the impression that it is not negotiable. Definitely follow up on this!
