After an initial phone screener, I interviewed with the creative director and the chief marketing officer, where I was asked typical design questions about my past experience. They didn't seem to know what professional development was when I asked. Then, I was given an unpaid design challenge that I had to complete in 3 days. After all that, I got an automated rejection email, which was strange since I had spoken with actual people. Usually, a person would email me, but it shows the company's character that nobody could even give generic feedback.

The interview experience was decent; the people were really nice and provided a lot of details. It was an in-person job, not remote, and the pay seemed okay, but I did have to pay for parking which was a bit pricey.

The interview process was easy and straightforward. I wish they would have conducted the interview in part with studio management to get a better feel of the local studio. Xponential owns and operates some of their studios across the country, rather than having individual franchised owners, and in those cases, I think it would be helpful if they conducted those interviews with the studio management present as well.
