The interview process was very quick, starting on Monday and ending with an offer by Friday. The recruiter was professional and clear about the job description. I first interviewed with the manager for a screening, and then the next day, I had another interview with 5-7 people. The screening covered my knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms. The phone interview with the panel included questions about my dissertation and some behavioral questions.

The interview experience was very good and conducted professionally. The interview was at a star hotel in Hyderabad as it was Xperttech's first step in establishing an offshore presence there. I was asked about the detailed recruiting process, and my responses satisfied the CEO and CFO. I'm proud to be Xperttech's first offshore recruiter.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was very rude and rough, not thorough, and they seemed confused about what they were actually looking for. They weren't clear about their budget, seemed very greedy and short-termed, and had no patience. I shouldn't have accepted the offer.

I talked with the company's Managing Partner. After I got the offer, I ended up reporting to the EVP, which wasn't a big deal. The main thing was that the job I actually started on my first day was totally different from the one I was sold.
