First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at XPEL.
Senior Accountant
I had three interviews. First, a recruiter call with HR. Then, I met with the hiring manager and director. Lastly, I met with the Controller. It was a mix of behavioral and technical questions.
- Can you share an instance where you had a conflict with a colleague and explain how you resolved it?
People Partner
The interview process is conducted by skilled and professional interviewers who prioritize fairness and respect. Talented management fosters a welcoming environment, ensuring candidates feel valued. They actively listen, ask insightful questions, and provide constructive feedback. This approach not only highlights the organization’s commitment to excellence but also promotes a positive candidate experience.
- Tell me about a tough situation you encountered in a prior job and the steps you took to overcome it.
Product Data Specialist
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first was with a recruiter where they asked general background questions and one about how I handled a difficult project. The second round was with the department manager, focusing on my background, skillset, and career journey. The final round was an in-person meeting with the department manager, which included a tour of the facility and a rundown of its history. This was followed by a brief Excel test (which I was given a heads-up about) and then a few quick questions from another technical person.
- What's your methodology when you start working with a new dataset for analysis?
