First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xencor.
Communications Specialist
Had a quick chat with the recruiter first. They asked about my background and if I was interested in the role. Then, I talked to the hiring manager, followed by one-on-one chats with two HR people. After that, I met with the VP and then the CEO. They didn't ask any behavioral questions, just about my experience with x, y, z. Turns out they were looking for someone with direct biotech experience.

The interview process was intense, with back-to-back interviews with the team for the entire day. It was nerve-wracking, but all interviewers were pleasant and friendly, asking a variety of questions. The interview lasted about 6 hours.
- What did you do in your previous role?

It was a phone interview with the recruiter, then a 1:1 with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview with different people from the company, all done over Microsoft Teams because of covid. The whole thing from interview to getting the offer took about a month.
