First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Xchange Technology Group.
Software Engineer Intern
The interview will be easy if you prepare the basics. They mostly asked OOPS and simple programming questions like swapping, questions about the testing domain, Java, C programming language, OOPS, and general basics.
- Tell me about OOPS concepts.
- Do you know Python?
- Tell me about Java.
Procurement Specialist
I had an interview with the hiring manager, lasting about an hour on a Friday. Then, on the following Monday, I was supposed to have a second phone interview with HR. We scheduled it, but when the time came, the call never happened. I emailed to check if they had my correct number, and they did. I was told the HR Director's calendar had an issue and all her information was lost. I asked to reschedule, and they said they'd be in touch. It's been two weeks since then. If this is their typical way of operating, I think it's good that they accidentally scheduled the second interview with the wrong person.
- What made you interested in this role?
Administrative Assistant
I had interviews with a bunch of the company's execs, and they were all great. But one of them wasn't there on my interview day. Instead of calling me early to reschedule, they let me come in, then asked me to come back later to meet the other one. So I ended up driving for two hours and interviewing for over three hours. I really thought I had a good chance. I sent follow-up thank-you emails and was told I'd hear back in a week. It's been a month and I haven't heard anything. I get that companies can't reply to every resume, and it's fine if I'm not the right fit, but it's really rude not to even send a short email. I hope whoever they hired can help improve their HR.
- What's your strategy for managing tasks when multiple supervisors assign you conflicting priorities?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process started with a scheduled phone interview by the HR assistant with the Director of HR. I took time off to prepare for this, but the Director didn't call. I let the HR assistant know, and she rescheduled the interview. I got ready again, but for the second time, the Director didn't call. I never got any notice about cancellations either by phone or email, and I had to reach out to them. This unprofessional behavior makes me question pursuing a career here.
- Phone Interview; Director of Human Resources no-show (rescheduled twice); no email or phone call to inform me of cancellation of my scheduled phone interview.
