The interview process was longer than i was used to. Started off with a screening meeting with talent acquisition which was very good, they kept me constantly updated with the process throughout. After the screening was the technical assignment completed online, it featured multiple choice questions, an SQL question and a programming question. After I went to a live Technical interview which also featured the same type of questions alongside an additional logical question and an optional mathematics question. Immediately after the technical interview was the general 1:1 interview to probe further into my expertise and cultural fit with the company. After that process then was the final interview which was to ensure my fit with the role

Behavioral Technical

So the interview process started with a recruiter screening call. Then there were three more interviews, two of them were remote and one was in-person, with some senior leaders and people I would be working with. It all happened over about three weeks, and they gave me feedback after each step. The recruiter was really good about telling me what to expect and keeping me in the loop the whole time. I liked that Xceptor was upfront about the job, the team, and how hiring worked. The way they handled the whole thing made me feel good about it and more interested in the job.

Behavioral Case

It was a great experience. The recruiter was excellent, making me feel comfortable, and was organized and kept me updated. They answered my questions quickly, reducing my nerves. The interviewers were friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere where it was clear they wanted to find the right fit for everyone. The interviews were fair, thorough, and allowed for a two-way discussion about the team, company culture, my background, and skills. This experience gave me confidence in the company's values and culture. I definitely recommend interviewing here, it's professional, engaging, and shows they care about people.

Presentation Behavioral

I interviewed for a Product Manager role and was asked to prepare a presentation based on their product. While a Product Manager interview should assess strategic thinking, problem solving, stakeholders management, prioritization and user-centric design, this instead, felt more like a free consultation. I was asked to present ideas for improving their product, only to be told they had already tried them. Rather than evaluating my approach, they seemed to be fishing for fresh insights. After the interview, the recruiter said they were "freezing the role," making the process feel like a waste of time. The role is frequently relisted under different titles, raising red flags about turnover or indecision.
