They reached out via LinkedIn for this role. The whole process, from applying to getting the offer, was super smooth with 3 interviews. First was with HR, then the Delivery Manager, and finally the Delivery Director. Interviews were short and questions were pretty standard, nothing too crazy.

Behavioral Technical

I was messaged on Linkedin about an opportunity at Xapt. The first round was a telephone interview with HR, covering general questions, my motivations, and details from my CV. The second round was an on-site technical interview with the tech team and HR, where we discussed my previous work experience from a technical standpoint, but there were no tests or technical tasks. The third round, which I didn't have, would have been an interview with an executive and team leader. After the second round, they said I'd hear back in a week, and they're usually quick. However, I've been ghosted and haven't heard anything for 5 weeks now, even though they initially contacted me! It's disappointing to be treated this way by a company.

They asked me to create a pivot table and then "simulate" teaching users how to create pivot tables and showcase different views. This wasn't very clear to me, so I just started making the pivot tables without really teaching them. I asked if I could redo it, but they said no, that my chance was over. After that, they asked about my understanding of the role, my salary expectations, if I knew any business processes and which one was my favorite, and if I had finance/accounting experience.

Behavioral Other

At first, the recruiter was really enthusiastic, but it went into inappropriate flirtatious conversations. It seems like they were really eager to hire someone. The recruiter basically walked me through the whole process, even telling me how to answer questions for the in-person interview. It seemed like an easy process, but now I think they were hiding the real company culture.
