Account Manager
Started with a 30 min intro screening call with the Hiring Manager where they asked general questions about my experience and gave an overview of the role to see if I was a good fit. Then there were 4 separate 45 min conference call interviews. Each interview focused on a specific topic related to the role, such as Customer Service skills and Strategy building. The entire process took 2 months and there weren't many updates during that time. After the last of the 4 interviews, I didn't hear back for over a week. I finally emailed to ask for an update since I had other job offers. They emailed back apologizing for the delay and said I wasn't successful. If I hadn't emailed, I probably wouldn't have heard back for another month. They really don't seem to value the candidate's time at this company. Communication was poor and they didn't provide any feedback after I spent over 5 hours interviewing with them. I probably wouldn't have accepted an offer anyway because the company appears to have very bad communication, people management, and organizational skills.
- How would you describe your time management approach?
- What strategy would you propose for a client's CPA campaign?
- Can you explain how you handle difficult situations?
Account Manager
Xandr's interview process was a misleading mess. I went through the whole thing as a referral and got a strong verbal offer from multiple team members, which was great but I was still cautious. There was an email chain with "congratulations" in the subject line where future coworkers were sending welcome messages. A recruiter even asked what would happen if my current company countered Xandr's offer, and I said I was interested in Xandr's offer. Several weeks later, the recruiter ghosted me and the "congratulations" chain went silent. When I followed up on the written offer, I was told the headcount wasn't approved but that they were "working to get an exception." I don't know what happened with that. I wasn't expecting much by then. If Xandr had shown more ownership and accountability, this review wouldn't be here. Overall, it was a disappointing display of unprofessionalism, even for a well-known company like Microsoft.
- How would you respond if your current employer made a counteroffer?
- What would you do if your current company countered Xandr's offer?
Account Manager
It was very good structured. After the initial call, you have 4 other meetings with colleagues from different departments. After a while, it is exactly the same questions, which is annoying.
- What makes a presentation good? And how would you go about preparing one?
