The interview process was very nice, warm, and friendly. Scott Jones was very nice to talk to and made me feel at ease with his introductory approach. The office space environment and setup, at first glance, seemed and looked friendly to work with, and it's true.

The interview process with Wright Engineers was painless; and, when you've been looking for a job for a period of time, this is a blessing. The company as a whole was extremely prepared and organized. I applied through their LinkedIn page with their "easy apply" button. I heard back from someone that very same day and scheduled my interview for the following day. They provided me with instructions on how to get to their offices, and a contact number in case I got lost or had any questions leading up to the interview. When I arrived for my interview the following day, I was greeted by everyone in the front room and shown into the conference room. I was joined by 3 members of the Wright Engineer staff, and the process began. The interview started with standard questions like "tell me about yourself, what are your strengths, etc.." Then, they went on to tell me a little background about the company and what the job would entail. They concluded the interview by asking if I had any questions, and what my expected salary would be. I heard back from them later that afternoon with a job offer!

I first spoke with a Principal at the BYU Career fair and gave him my resume. A few weeks later, I received a call asking my wife and I to interview in Las Vegas. The Principal insisted my wife join, as he recognized the importance of her buy-in for a potential move to Las Vegas for the job. I was impressed by this consideration for family. We really liked the office and the people we met. The trip to Vegas was a single day, with interviews in the morning followed by lunch with some engineers. What stood out was my wife being with me for the entire interview. There were no tricky questions, and not much was asked about technical skills. It seemed more like an assessment of mutual fit. I was still amazed by the experience on the flight home, but tried not to get my hopes up about an offer. Just a week or two later, I got an offer via email, which was great.

I first met them at a career fair. After they reviewed my resume, Brent called me for a basic phone interview. A couple of weeks later, I went to their office and met most of the team, and had a laid-back chat with Brent.
