First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WPP.
Account Director
There were two interviews. The interviewers were friendly and respected my time. They also provided good feedback on how I did. The questions asked were mostly based on my CV, with some scenario-based questions about managing challenging clients and creating development plans for employees.
- Can you share an instance of managing a challenging client relationship?
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult client.
- What strategies would you use to create development plans for your team members?
Account Director
The interview process started with an HR screening, followed by meetings with the Group Managing Director and then the Managing Director. Each interview was a 1-on-1 session lasting about an hour. We discussed my experience with CPGs, how I analyze campaigns strategically, and my roles as both a manager and a team member. The interviewers were really nice and professional, and the whole process felt very quick and efficient.
- Can you share an example of a successful campaign and explain what made it successful?
Sales Director
It was really intense, with a lot of meetings over two days with different people from the company. They all seemed to be on the same page, which was a good sign. After the second day, I felt like it would be a good place to work.
- How would you approach growing the business?
