Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WPP Media.
Intern
I first got an email from HR, then had an interview with HR, followed by an interview with the head of biddable and the biddable specialists. All interviews were done via Teams. They made me feel comfortable and were super nice.
- Can you share details about your education?
- What is your proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint?
- What are your learning goals for this internship?
Intern
I had a phone interview where the specialist talked to me about my background and my motivations for the job. They also explained the role. I had to stop the process due to school commitments, but I believe a video interview was planned next.
- What makes you want this particular role?
Intern
Found the recruiting news on university BBS. Started with an email submission. Then a brief telephone interview asking basic questions about myself and scheduling the next interview. The face-to-face interview had two interviewers: the department director and a technically skilled manager. They asked general questions in both Chinese and English, then I was given 45 minutes to analyze data using Excel and prepare a short PPT answering open-ended questions about market trends and challenges for a specific company. Afterwards, I had to present my analysis.
- What is your situation regarding task completion and time constraints?
- Can you provide your thoughts on the questions you couldn't fully address?
