I have interviewed twice here for two different positions, and both processes were the same. There was a wait time of at least 2-3 weeks before HR first contacted me about my application. Then there was a quick phone screen with someone in HR, with super general questions, and it didn’t go into much detail about the position or ask field-related questions. After that, things went incredibly quickly, as they wanted me to start ASAP and take several hours out of my day. The speed rounds involved meeting at least 6 people for 15-30 minutes each. It seemed unorganized and hectic; interviewers were late or didn’t match the agenda HR gave me. There were a lot of last-minute substitutions by direct reports. The conversations were great and casual. Then there was a wait time of a few days before I was invited back for a final interview with upper management. It took a couple of weeks to hear back on the decision.

The people were nice but the whole process took way too long and felt like I was repeating myself. I ended up talking to 6 different people. I was pretty excited about the job at first, but after the first 4 interviews, I really started to lose interest. It seemed like they didn't talk to each other because they all asked me the exact same questions. By the time I got to the last interview, I was so over it and just wanted it to be finished.

I applied online and got a response for an initial interview within a week or two. This first interview was via Zoom with someone from HR. We talked about some hypothetical scenarios and my background, like my education and interests. About two weeks later, I had a second interview, also on Zoom, with the person who would be my manager. This one was quicker and more laid-back. They let me know within a few days after that and offered me the job. The whole process at WPG was smoother and faster than other places I've interviewed. The HR team seems really organized and helpful.

I interviewed during Covid. Initially, I had two interviews and was told I was a top candidate. Then Covid hit, and they paused hiring. Two months later, they reopened the position and wanted to interview twice more. After those two interviews, I was ghosted. I followed up weekly for four weeks, and eventually, the assistant informed me the position was filled. It seems they reopened applications when they decided to hire again.
