Marketing Executive
I applied online and got an interview invite really fast. The process included two rounds with the head of department, a quick assignment that took about 40 minutes, and then a final interview with the MD. The whole thing happened within two weeks. They asked me questions about my skills, how I'd handle certain situations, and about my previous work. I got an offer, but it was an exploding one because they needed someone urgently and didn't give much time to decide.
- What skills do you have?
- How would you handle this type of situation?
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
Marketing Executive
First, I had a chat with the company recruiter, just to gauge interest and set up a follow-up call about my background and the role. It was pretty chill, like a casual talk, and they told me what to expect next. Then, I had a 30-minute phone call with the hiring manager where we mostly talked about my past experience, the job itself, and what it entails. The next day, I went to the company office for a face-to-face interview with a Senior Marketing Manager and a Deputy Marketing Director. It lasted about an hour and was pretty straightforward, focusing on two exercises I'd completed beforehand. I got an offer two days after that.
- What are your aspirations for your career, and where do you envision yourself in a decade?
- In ten years, what is your career outlook?
Marketing Assistant
Had a phone screen with the Marketing Director, then an onsite interview with them and a senior marketing manager. Lots of situational questions about marketing. They really wanted to know how I would market an event. I felt like I answered everything well, but they weren't impressed. They even gave me tips on how to answer their questions at the end, which made me think I wouldn't get an offer.
- What's your strategy for marketing an event on social media?
- Have you checked out our upcoming events?
- What's your motivation for pursuing a career in marketing?
