The interview was a 45-minute online meeting via Teams with the manager and HR. They asked about 10 questions that I had already prepared for by Googling and asking friends who currently work there. The questions were all ones I had prepared for. They were very friendly, and I felt comfortable. After that, they contacted my references, and then I received an offer for the job.

The interview was really relaxed and went smoothly. They asked some general questions and a couple of technical ones, but nothing too difficult. I was given some hypothetical situations and asked how I'd approach them. They mentioned there weren't really any wrong answers, and they were mainly interested in understanding my thinking and seeing if I'd be a good fit for the team.

I had an initial interview and then a panel interview with the department. The first was just a get-to-know-you chat and the second was more about the technical skills I could bring. They usually do a school visit after that, but they weren't doing them at the time because of COVID.
