Marketing Coordinator
The interview process is pretty long, covering 3 pages of behavior questions. You'll really need to be prepped and practice your answers thoroughly, making sure to have plenty of examples and stories ready to share.
- Can you describe a project you managed and your approach to it?
- Share an instance where you had a disagreement with your manager and how it was resolved.
- Describe a situation where you applied your problem-solving skills.
Staff Accountant
Had a 40 min phone screen with HR first. Then there were 2 panel interviews that were an hour long with managers. After that, I had to wait for HR to finish up reference checks, which took a bit. I get it though, sometimes that part can be a lot of phone tag. Make sure your references know to take the call, because if they miss it, it can take a while for HR to reach out again.
- Do you have any issues with praying at work?
Administrative Coordinator
Applied online and got an email for a phone interview 3 days later. The phone interview was an hour and a half long. The recruiter explained the role and confirmed the salary range was okay, which was a bit below market. Then, they reviewed my resume and asked about my experiences. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview at their HQ. I met with a panel of 3 people, with the hiring manager joining remotely. They followed an interview script. The recruiter and panel were very professional. I didn't get an offer, but they called back with positive feedback.
- What aspects of this job excite you the most?
- Can you describe your learning style?
- This organization is Christian, and employees must profess the Christian faith. How do you feel about this requirement?
Promoter
After applying online and sending my resume, I was invited to a group interview. Around 7 of us were there and we talked about World Vision's mission, what a promoter does, and did some exercises on how to promote sponsorships. They offered 4 jobs right at the end of the interview.
- How would you deal with a challenging customer?
