First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at World's Finest Chocolate.
Sales Manager
First talked to a recruiter, then had a second interview, and a final interview with senior leadership. The interviews were pretty general, not difficult. The whole process took about a week.
- Can you tell me about a movie that exemplifies your selling techniques?
Systems Analyst
It was a really good multistage interview process. First, there was a phone interview, and then I went in person to meet with 2-3 supervisors all in one afternoon. They asked some really good questions, covering everything from my skills to what business books I'd read recently.
- Could you tell me about the last business book you read?
Sales Representative
I got a phone call asking if I could do a phone interview at a specific time. I called in, and spoke with someone who asked me standard questions. I have several years of experience in sales. I don't have any issues in my past. I asked what a typical day would look like, and they said I'd be up at 6 am and at schools by 7 am. (I know from experience that's a bad time to reach a decision-maker because it's so busy before school starts.) I would get my own territory. They didn't mention gas compensation, and since I might be driving 200-300 miles a day, 5-6 days a week, I was trying to figure out the costs. The starting salary is only for a year. I had to assume it was very basic since I never got a clear answer. Do the math yourself before you decide to use your car for this job.
- Tell me about a typical day in this job.
- Can you describe yourself as a self-starter?
- Are you available to work an open schedule?
IT Assistant
The interview process was pretty simple. You'll talk to the two HR managers, plus people from the IT and Business departments. You'll meet the senior IT manager Ali and his work buddy.
- Tell me about your experience leading projects.
