Customer Service Representative
The interview process was really quick and simple. We just had one in-person interview, and after that, they'd call to let you know if they wanted to hire you. This part was about 30 words long, and then there was another 30 words, and then another 30 words, and so on, for about 30 words, 30 words, 30 words, 30 words, 30 words, 30 words.
- Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
Customer Service Representative
I sent in my application online and got a call the next day to set up an interview with an assistant manager for the day after. I dressed up a bit but it felt about right for making a good impression. The interview was one-on-one and felt really relaxed; we talked about basic stuff and also about personal interests. I liked that they told me the typical hours and schedule structure. They then asked me to come back the next day to interview with the store manager. That interview was even more laid-back, with a lot of talk about the store's culture and how it operates, and I found out the hourly wage was $9. This worked for me compared to my last job which had more stress even though the base pay was the same. They said they'd check my references and the day after that, I got an offer via email. Both managers made a good impression and seemed like they'd lead a team that's welcoming and comfortable, focusing on the team environment in a way that wasn't just about sales targets.

it was pretty casual and informal, i was greeted by the front desk and then walked to the back where i sat with an employee who asked me a few questions. it didn't take too long and was relatively smooth.
