Financial Service Representative
It was a one-on-one chat with the District Manager, and it felt really conversational. They wanted to get to know me as a person – my personality, my enthusiasm, and if I fit with what the company values. A big part was also checking if I met the basic requirements for the job and if I was truly excited about this specific role.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Branch Service Representative
I applied online and soon after got called in. I talked with the branch manager and her supervisor, who was visiting that day. The office was pretty open, so not much privacy, but it wasn't busy and the other rep kept to himself. The manager asked a couple basic questions, but mostly her supervisor was asking me stuff the whole time. Like, are you okay working weekends and holidays, and can you handle making 50-100 collection calls daily? Nothing too tough. A few days later, they called with an offer, I accepted, and started about a week later.
- Can you describe a situation where you went the extra mile for a customer or a friend?
- What led to your decision to attend college?
- Are you open to working some Saturdays and holidays?
Business Analyst
First, I had a call with HR. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, there was an online logic test with questions like counting the occurrences of the letter 's' in a given text. This was followed by more discussions with team members. They also gave me a case study. Honestly, the whole process felt a bit disorganized.
- How would you handle situations with incomplete data?
- What is your approach to counting the frequency of the letter 's' in a given text?
Assistant Manager
I submitted my resume at the branch after a recommendation from another company I had applied to. They called me that same day and asked me a few questions over the phone. The next day, I met with the branch manager. As it turned out, her supervisor was visiting the next day, so I got to meet him too. I got a job offer over the phone later that day and started working the following week.
