Account Moderator
It's a two step process. You interview first with the HR lady. She has you take a few assessment tests. They have to make sure you can type, can hear on the phone, etc. Then, if you pass all of that, you interview with the managers. The managers asked me about my experience, weighed my qualifications. He made expectations clear, which was helpful in starting the position.
- What reasons would lead you to not hire me?
- Explain the steps to scramble an egg.
Sales Representative
The HR recruiter was late for the interview. When we started, they asked about my experience and skills. Then, I had to do a role-play to demonstrate my sales abilities. The HR person was not friendly and seemed to grill me about the job's demands. They suggested I wasn't suited for this work and should consider something easier. I was taken aback and didn't know what to say. They said they'd reach out if interested, but the experience made me want to leave. I realized this wasn't a place I wanted to work due to the unprofessional and rude HR. They made me feel worthless, as if I shouldn't have applied. Ironically, they admitted I successfully sold them on the role during the role-play, despite my qualifications. I'm unsure why they then degraded me.
- Can you describe how you deal with potential clients rejecting you?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was very quick. Before going in, I completed a brief typing test on the computer. Then, they asked me questions about my past experience and my future goals. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
