I spoke with the manager and the HR director by phone. The HR director then contacted the three references I provided. About two weeks later, I was offered the job, which was to cover the territory in the middle of the state, even though I live in a different time zone. The conversations were pretty casual and not too difficult. I don't think there were many applicants for the role because of the low pay and the less-than-ideal territory.

I had two interviews, each lasting three hours, and they seemed to go really well. I spoke with the HR manager, who mentioned they were sorting out the budget and I should hear back within a week, expressing strong interest in my skills. However, I never got any follow-up. About three months later, they called to say they had an opening that would be a good fit for me. Given the long delay and the poor handling by HR, I wasn't interested anymore.

The interview process started with a phone call, and then I had several more rounds via video chat. It was a pretty relaxed interview process, quite direct and friendly. I spoke with multiple people on their team during the video interviews. Overall, I thought it was a good process and I'm excited about potentially joining them.
