The interview process involved three distinct stages, finishing with a final task that included research and a mock pitch. Everyone I met with was nice and asked challenging questions that really tested my knowledge of the procurement industry.

The interview process started with a standard phone screening. After that, I had an in-person meeting with seven different employees that lasted about two and a half hours. It felt pretty repetitive because most of them asked the same questions, which were a mix of behavioral and personal. They could have easily asked all those questions at once. Most of the interviewers were nice and seemed interested in my responses. The only one who was really off-putting was the department manager; they came in late and left early. Their questions felt more like an interrogation, like they were trying to catch me out. While that's fair, it felt a bit aggressive compared to the others, especially for a job described as 'monotonous admin work'. Also, the dress code was super casual, and there was a noticeable lack of diversity among the interviewers and during the office tour. The whole thing was just okay, but I guess I didn't quite fit the vibe they wanted, and I didn't get an offer.

I was contacted in October for a 30-minute phone interview. I confirmed the time with an HR rep a few days before. The day of the interview I don't receive a call. I get an email after the scheduled time saying that my cell phone number wasn't working (however I am certain my phone had no issues with receiving calls from unknown numbers) and asking to reschedule through a web link. The afternoon of the rescheduled time, I receive an email asking to reschedule again to the next day due to an unexpected work meeting. I respond saying I can. I never got a response back from the company. About a month later I get a notification that the position was filled.

Had initial chats with HR and the manager. Then, they gave me a writing assignment to complete in 24 hours. After that, I had another phone chat with the hiring manager. The next step was an in-person meeting with the team, which included lunch, and a separate 1:1 with some of the leadership. I decided to withdraw my application before things progressed further.
