Software Engineer
This recruitment process has been awful. Jobs advertised but never filled. Automated messages received months after applying. The system is broken, the AI bot (Zoe) can't answer questions, update job specs, or reschedule interviews. It can't understand requests or connect candidates to people. This suggests poor development overall. I asked for my data to be removed, but the DPO email also triggered a broken workflow. There are ethical and technical issues preventing the hiring of experienced candidates. The recruiter was nice, but I had to find her on LinkedIn for a job spec because the ad was removed. It's strange they sought 15+ years experience for a Senior Software Engineer role, which doesn't match the position or budget. I concluded there was no engineering team reviewing candidates or roles. If there were, they'd interview candidates themselves. The position remained unfilled for a year, prompting my curiosity. I don't think they're actually hiring a Senior Software Engineer, just sending automated responses. It's a waste of time but provided insight into Workvivo.

Software Engineer Intern
I ran into WebFilings at my school's career fair and gave my resume to a recruiter. They reached out a few days later to set up an interview for the next week. Two guys interviewed me, one seemed like a manager. They started by talking about my resume and past experience, asking why I liked tech/software, about my relevant classes, and my extracurriculars. That part was about 15 minutes. Then, they went into a technical interview for about 45 minutes. The first two coding questions were easy, but the third one was confusing, and I spent five minutes asking questions before trying it. When they saw I was having trouble with the coding, they shifted to more general computer science questions. A week later, I got a weird email. It didn't explicitly reject me but said they'd assembled qualified candidates and invited me to check their jobs page. It was strange and passive, not saying anything about whether I'd interview again.
- Can you write a program to sort items by different keys, where each key can be a different data type, based on the key provided in the function call?
- Can you write a function that sorts elements based on different keys, where each element has multiple keys, and each key has a different data type? The sorting should be based on the key specified in the arguments.
Software Engineer
The interview process had 5 interviews, each lasting 1 hour. It started with a phone screen that was really informative and engaging. Then, there was a 1-hour technical interview with an engineering manager. The last 3 interviews were all on the same day and included another 1-hour technical interview with senior engineers, a 1-hour behavioral interview with a delivery manager, and a 1-hour interview with the hiring manager. It was a good experience, everyone was engaging, respectful and friendly. I felt good about my progress after each interview and was more excited about the role.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to manage a team conflict?
