Had initial contact with an external recruiter who had exclusive hiring rights for this role. Ended up having 3 calls with this recruiter, and one of those was to prep me for the HR interview. The HR person, who was a professional Yoga instructor, didn't seem very engaged and only asked some basic questions, not really digging deep. I didn't feel a good connection with them.

Behavioral Presentation Other

There were lots of interviews, with about half of them involving people from different departments to gauge cultural fit. In total, I had 10 interviews. Now that I'm hired, I frequently interview people who have no connection to sales. They also tend to take a very long time to get back to you. My advice is to avoid going through a recruiter or applying online. Instead, email the manager directly or get a referral from someone you know who works there, otherwise, you probably won't get the job.

It's a 3-4 step process. Make sure you do your homework, understand the company, and know what problems it solves. You'll need to present these points in a panel presentation. The interview process felt really comfortable, but it was demanding. They're looking for top talent who also show empathy, prioritize customers, and can contribute to the existing great culture.
