Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Workiva.
Solutions Consultant
The process was pretty standard. A recruiter reached out first, then I interviewed with the hiring manager, then the business line manager. The final round was a panel of 4 people. For that last interview, I had to give a presentation about GTM and my 30-60-90 day plan.
- Can you share your past experiences with us?
- What's your take on our product's position in the market?
- Describe how you'd handle certain objections.
Consultant
The interviews were more technical than behavioral. The whole process was transparent and clear. The interviewers were nice and respectful. I asked for feedback after interviewing a few people from the team and was rejected, which was unexpected.
- Can you share an experience where you improved a process or product?
Solutions Consultant
Applied and got confirmed for an HR screening quickly. Then, I was booked for the next stage with the Hiring Manager right away. This went well, we had a good chat about the role, what to expect, my experience, and some competency questions. I was professional after the interview, sent a thank you email, and followed up for feedback weekly for 4 weeks. It's now been 6 weeks and still no feedback. Feels like I'm begging. Emails and calls have been ignored.
- Can you share your experience or examples of using SQL and API integrations?
