The interview process was pretty thorough, and I had three meetings with key people at Workit Health. These meetings gave me a good sense of the company culture, which is really inclusive and focused on the well-being of both the employees and the members we help. I was asked a few questions about my experience with OUD/AUD treatment and my thoughts on a harm reduction approach to care. These discussions led to great conversations and showed how my values, mission, and practice goals are a perfect fit with Workit Health.

This was the worst interview experience ever. I applied for a job on LinkedIn and then got contacted by a junior recruiter to schedule an interview with the VP of marketing. I sent over my availability, but didn't hear back. Then, I got an invite with only 30 minutes notice, so obviously I missed it. We rescheduled for the next day, and it went well. After that, I got a link from the recruiter to pick more times to meet with the next VP. I sent in my availability and prepped for hours. Again, days went by with no response. I followed up, still nothing. The days I submitted for availability passed, and I still hadn't heard anything. I followed up again, offering more times. Later, I got a generic email saying they were moving on with another candidate. I spent so much time prepping and making myself available, only to lose the opportunity because the recruiter wouldn't communicate or schedule me properly. I hope this isn't how the company usually operates.

This was definitely the fastest hiring experience I have ever had. After submitting my application, I was contacted by a recruiter within just a few days and invited to schedule a phone screen. The recruiter provided clear instructions and communicated what was needed. The phone screen focused on my background and experiences, and was very professional. I was really nervous but the recruiter was very understanding and supportive throughout the conversation. Following the phone screen, I had two separate interviews with hiring managers. These were about 2 or 3 days apart. Both of these interviews were very engaging and I felt like this would be a great company to work for.

I had three interviews total, all via zoom. Everyone I talked to was really nice and gave me good info about the program and the job. The first interview was to get to know me and my background. In the second, I met with the clinical director in Michigan, who told me about the company, how their programs work, what they're working on, and some daily tasks. The last interview was supposed to be with someone from the New Jersey team, but I actually met with the clinic overseer in Michigan instead. She went over the detailed day-to-day aspects of the job functions to make sure I was fully prepared for what to expect.
