First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Working Not Working.
Intern
it was simple. First, there was an intro call to check my education, and any projects or internships I've done. Then, a technical round focused on finance and financial understanding of products. Finally, a manager round.
- Tell me about your education.
- Have you done any projects so far?
- Have you interned for any other organization?
Software Engineer
This is a common set of rounds for all campus interviews, starting with an attitude check, group discussion, and a face-to-face interview. They eliminate a significant portion of candidates in the first level itself, looking for MCA freshers in India. They ask basic HR and skills-related questions.
- Can you explain OOPS concepts?
- Explain the basic structure of Java.
Customer Assistant
The interview process was alright. I was okay with the door being left open because it seemed quiet where the interview was happening. Suddenly, a worker came in and interrupted the interview, shoving a bottle of juice at the supervisor who was interviewing me. Apparently, the boss liked it. She left and came back a few minutes later with the juice and a sticker on it, then continued the interview. It was very strange behavior; I would never interrupt an interview unless it was really important. I was apparently not a good fit for the job, which confused me considering what I observed of the current staff.
- Considering I had not worked in customer service for over 12 years, can you provide an instance where you delivered excellent customer service?
Business Analyst
The interview process was super straightforward, with just two rounds, and I got the offer straight after. They're hiring a lot of people, so it was pretty relaxed with not too many questions. The pay is good too.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your education.
- What are your thoughts on innovation?
